A Stitch of Class Embroidery has been a true labor of love since 1997, when Harold and Pat Curry purchased the business and began building it into a trusted name in the community.

Their journey together started long before that—in Sunrise, Florida, where they met and began building a life rooted in family, hard work, and creativity. In the early 2000s, they moved to Georgia, bringing their growing family and dreams with them, and continued to build what would become a lasting legacy.

The inspiration behind the business came naturally. Pat had a lifelong love for sewing—bringing fabric to life through everything from prom dresses and Halloween costumes to home décor, curtains, and even weighted blankets for special needs children. If it could be sewn, she could create it. That same passion and attention to detail became the foundation of A Stitch of Class.

Together, Harold and Pat raised five children, and today their family has grown to 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren—each one a reminder of the legacy they’ve built not only in business, but in life.

For nearly 30 years, they poured their hearts into every stitch, earning the trust of customers through consistency, care, and craftsmanship. That dedication still defines the business today.

Now, A Stitch of Class has been passed down to their daughter Cyndee and granddaughter Summer, who are proud to carry it forward while honoring everything it was built on. It remains a true family business—one rooted in tradition, strengthened by generations, and committed to quality in every detail.
